Information Amae processes

Amae processes the account information you provide, such as your email address, along with the content you choose to store in the service.

  • Tasks, Notes, Marks, projects, tags, dates, and related metadata.
  • URLs, source text, images, video, captions, authorship, and other context captured when you save a Mark.
  • Voice recordings, transcripts, summaries, and audio metadata when you create a voice Note.
  • Basic technical data required for authentication, security, rate limiting, diagnostics, and reliable operation.

How information is used

We use this information to authenticate your account, synchronize your workspace, display and search your content, process captures, provide reminders, maintain the service, and respond to support or access requests.

Assisted processing

Amae may process saved text, images, and voice recordings to provide features such as transcription, summaries, tags, searchable representations, visual context, and suggested Tasks. These features support organization and retrieval; they do not replace the original material.

Content may be sent to specialized service providers only when needed to perform the requested processing.

Storage and service providers

Amae relies on infrastructure providers for authentication, databases, file storage, hosting, and assisted processing. Stored media may include copied source images, video files, and audio recordings. We use access controls and application-level authorization to limit access to account content.

No internet service can promise absolute security. Early-access users should avoid storing highly sensitive information that requires a regulated or specialized security environment.

Source content

When you save material from another service or website, the original provider may continue to receive requests when links or external media are opened. Their own privacy terms still apply.

Your choices

You can edit or delete individual content from Amae. The iOS app also provides an account-deletion request flow with a cancellation period where shown. To request access, correction, export assistance, or deletion support, contact the address used for your Amae invitation.

Changes

We may revise this notice as the product and its providers change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made.
